• Vintage: 1927 - 1970's (estimated)
• Details:  This is a very elegant looking saucier by International Silver Company.  It's in their "Early American" pattern, easily recognizable because of all the pretty notches and swirls all along the border.  Gorgeous on a buffet or dinner table, (this style is called a saucier, which typically has no handle and two pour spouts, but most people know them as gravy boats). We found an advertisement from 1927 where this pattern is listed, we don't know when it was discontinued, but the International Silver holloware business was sold to Oneida in 1981, so that's the oldest it could be, most likely early, 1970's.
• How To Use:  Not just for gravy, these boats are perfect for syrup, sauces, and other toppings, and you can add a pretty ladle for easier serving.  Great hostess gift idea!
• Material:  Silverplate
• Dimension:  8.0 inches Long, 5.5 inches Wide (at its widest point) and 3.5 inches Tall 
• Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Very Good Condition.  As with all used silver and silver plated pieces there are surface scratches, we feel acceptable due to age/use/wear.  It's shiny but needs a good cleaning.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 

The International Silver Contortion was formed in 1898 in Meriden, Connecticut as a corporation banding together many existing silver companies.  Also known as ISC, they market International Sterling flatware and silverplated flatware under various trademarks. The production of sterling hollowware continued until 1976 while the silver plated hollowware business was sold to Oneida Silversmiths in 1981. In 1986 the business was purchased by a subsidiary of Syratech Corporation. International Silver Co is now a property of Lifetime Brands, Inc.
